PLANNING A SOURCING VISIT TO GUANGZHOU & FOSHAN

A useful sourcing trip starts with a product brief. Collect reference images, dimensions, preferred materials, quantities and target budgets before scheduling supplier visits. Separate essential requirements from optional preferences.

Plan what must happen in person

Identify the products you need to compare, samples you need to approve and questions you need suppliers to answer. Leave room in the itinerary for travel and follow-up discussions. Arrange language support around your product category and meeting agenda.

Keep a record

After each visit, record supplier contact details, quotation versions, sample references and outstanding questions. A photograph alone may not capture the agreed specification.

Before placing an order

Confirm the approved model, materials, measurements, packaging, commercial terms and schedule in writing. Share expected ready dates with the logistics team early, especially when buying from several suppliers.
